Maine's Outdoor Learning Center, Maine Guide School, Registered Maine Guide
Hi Capt John and Tami,
It was a pleasure to make your acquaintance and I really think that what you do for people, who want to advance their knowledge in the outdoors, is a great thing for the individual, as well as the people who they later take into the great outdoors of Maine, to enjoy.
I am doing well and working towards retirement from the company I have been with over 30 years now. Looking forward to the day I can retire and work for myself in a field that I enjoy and don't consider as work.
Getting a Master guide license awhile back and also now upgrading my USCG Captain license to Master, I feel I am well on my way to realizing this goal, with your help.
In these trying times it's nice to know there are folks like you who give the education and confidence to people, who strive to be good guides and Captains on the woods and waters of the great state of Maine.
Thanks so much!
Capt. John A.

I just wanted you both to know what an experience this has been for me. I think back to when I was a kid thinking of how it would feel to become a “MAINE REGISTERED GUIDE” well now I know. I still think it is a dream!!!!!!! I do know it would not have been possible without your class. It truly is above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Keep up the great work and hope to see you soon,
A friend always,
