What Folk's are Saying:

"The Re-Wilding Weekend Retreat was Exceptional! I camped on the shores of the beautiful river with my daughter, attended 3 workshops, and shared meals with everyone. John and Tami are great hosts. They are incredibly experience and happy to share this knowledge and experience. The two are very gracious and attentive to any needs. They are also gifted in sharing their real-life stories. The meals are Gourmet! And they cook for all dietary needs too. It was the best outdoor cooking I’ve ever had!" - Shelene Shevchecko

“The course you put on was the best I have ever attended!

And I have been to quite a few. It will be forever etched in my mind.

The attention to detail, the enthusiasm, and the amount of knowledge imparted was remarkable.

The group was a large part of it. - loved them all.

The atmosphere was one of kindness and support. Thank you for being authentic and putting this course on.” - Campbell McLaren

"My husband and son attended the Wilderness Skill Building Weekend in late June. They had a fantastic time - loved the people, the activities and the food. My husband has a lot of wilderness skills and he learned a lot more. Greg did a great job teaching map and compass - from theory to practice. Tami and John (hosts) are wonderful, filled with great stories, sense of humor, fabulous chefs, and welcoming spirits.

We packed a lot into 2 days! Thanks so much!!!"

"Tami & John, Thank you both for a truly memorable time at the Maine Outdoor Learning Ctr.  We gained so much knowledge in foraging and land navigation and are truly inspired to learn more.  Our weekend in the Maine woods with you, our group and guides was a perfect fit to something we had been missing but hadn't realized.  It has changed us in ways large and small and we continue to apply what we learned to our daily lives.  Can't wait to come back again!

To all those reading: The positive energy created by hosts Tami & John really made for a fun, engaging and memorable camp experience between all the attendees.  We learned a lot, had a lot of laughs and left feeling like we had made new friends.  Plus the food was AMAZING!!"  - With hugs & gratitude, Keith & Jocelyn
